Halo might not get 2018 launch as expected

The Halo cockpit protection device is under review as majority of the drivers on the grid have voted against it, putting doubt on a 2018 introduction as intended. With the Halo device getting the go-ahead to continue it's development over Red Bull’s Aeroscreen concept, many drivers were against having any protection. German publication Auto, Motor und Sport revealed the results from the FIA survey done to see the reception of the Halo device. Out of 22 drivers, 16 answers were received, with 7 voting against it, 5 for it, and 4 abstaining.
