Pirelli gets extra pre-season wet weather test

 XPB Images The F1 Commission meeting in Geneva yesterday has suggested that Pirelli be provided with additional wet weather testing before the season gets underway. Pirelli's wet weather tyres came under heavy criticism from drivers after last year's Brazilian Grand Prix, with the rubber's performance having been judged as insufficient. But Pirelli's blue circled tyres also came under scrutiny following the FIA's plan to have s standing start when a race gets underway behind the Safety Car and once rain subsides.
