Champs Mercedes Set 2017 F1 Car W08 Launch Date & Place Formula 1 world champion Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team on Wednesday confirmed it will launch its 2017 F1 car W08 on 23 February. The launching event, and the Formula One title-defending W08's opening laps, will take place at British grand prix circuit Silverstone. The Silver Arrows announced the news in the form of a rivalry, where the winning fans will attend the launch.
