Late testing start will help drivers in 2017 - Ricciardo

 XPB Images Daniel Ricciardo believes the late start to pre-season testing in 2017 will prove beneficial to drivers as they prepare for new regulations. Wider tyres and different aerodynamic rules will be introduced next season in an attempt to make the cars quicker and more physical to drive. As a result, the drivers will need to adapt their training regimes to be able to handle the new cars for consecutive days of testing and Ricciardo believes the later start - with the first test taking place on February 27 - is helpful in allowing more preparation time.
