Grosjean looking forward to ‘emotional’ first French GP in 2018

Romain Grosjean has expressed his delight to the news that Formula 1 will race in his homeland for the first time since 2008 during 2018, which would be his first experience of a French Grand Prix. The thirty-year-old Haas F1 Team racer made his Formula 1 debut towards the end of the 2009 season but has only been a full time racer since 2012, and he doubted that he would get the opportunity to race in front of his home fans. Paul Ricard will host the French Grand Prix from 2018 onwards after agreeing a five year contract to host the race, and Grosjean admits it will be an emotional event for all of the French drivers on the grid.
