Liberty shareholders to vote on F1 purchase

– Liberty Media shareholders will meet next month to vote on proposals to push ahead with its planned purchase of Formula 1, initially outlined by the company two months ago.Liberty Media has taken on an 18.7 per cent stake, in a $746 million cash deal, and is ultimately set to acquire 100 per cent of Delta Topco's shares, the parent company of Formula 1.Liberty Media shareholders will vote on the acquisition on January 17.Shareholders "will be asked to vote on proposals relating to Liberty's issuance of shares of its Series C Liberty Media common stock in connection with the proposed acquisition of Formula 1".In addition, the vote will cover "the renaming of the...
