Wolff downplays Bottas-Mercedes move

Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff has downplayed the chances of Valtteri Bottas replacing retiring world champion Nico Rosberg, after claiming the Finn driver is 'very important' to Williams with 18-year-old Lance Stroll partnering Bottas.  Mercedes are now on their fourth official day of finding the most suitable driver to replace Nico Rosberg, and F1 Hub had earlier been informed by many sources that Bottas could be a major contender to partner Hamilton at Mercedes, but Wolff understands that their lead driver is critical for Williams' 2017 campaign, thus has hinted that the Bottas deal may not work.
