Mercedes driver recruitment process will start next week

Mercedes Formula One team will begin finding a replacement for Nico Rosberg next week in Brackley, following the 2016 world champion announcing a shock retirement in Vienna.  Rosberg, 31, won his first ever world championship less than a week ago in Abu Dhabi, and is highly unlikely to get another one under his belt, as he hangs his helmet. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says Rosberg informed him about his retirement decision on Tuesday, and to avoid a leak of Rosberg's retirement before his official announcement, Mercedes elected not to imminently kick off their driver recruitment process, despite their being less than four months before the 2017 season kicks into action in Australia....
