Baku boss explains name change for Azerbaijan F1 race

 XPB Images Baku City Circuit (BCC) executive director Arif Rahimov says the 2017 Formula One season “is the right time” to rename the 'Grand Prix of Europe' into the 'Azerbaijan Grand Prix'. BCC hosted its inaugural F1 race last June, with Mercedes' Nico Rosberg claiming the fifth victory in his 2016 title-winning campaign ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Force India’s Sergio Perez.
