Sebastian Vettel leads Max Verstappen in Abu Dhabi GP final practice
Sebastian Vettel beat Max Verstappen to the fastest time in third and final practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Despite different conditions to those the drivers will experience in qualifying and the race, it was a busy session with teams going for a number of different approaches. A late qualifying simulation on the ultra-soft tyre saw Vettel end the session fastest with a 1m40.775, with his Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen going third in the final moments. Max Verstappen was second for Red Bull Racing, just under one and a half tenths behind Vettel.
