Vettel leads Verstappen & Raikkonen in final practice – FP3 Report
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel ended the final practice session in P1 ahead of Max Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen as the Mercedes duo refrained from setting a final qualifying simulation. The opening lap times of the final practice session were set on the super-soft tyre as teams completed further set-up work. Lewis Hamilton set the benchmark on the red-walled tyre with a 1:42.120, with Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen and Nico Rosberg all within 0.6 seconds of the Briton. Sebastian Vettel was the first of the front-runners to set a time on the ultra-soft tyre, registering a 1:41.957 to lead the field approaching the half-way mark.
