Brown appointed McLaren Executive Director

– McLaren has confirmed that marketing guru Zak Brown will join as the Executive Director of McLaren Technology Group next month, a move which is a "a significant part of a restructuring programme."It was announced last week that Ron Dennis had been forced to stand down as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at McLaren, ending his 36-year time with the team.A McLaren statement confirmed that Brown will "align the [McLaren] Group's commercial and strategic operations relating to achieving success in Formula 1."Brown is set to work alongside current Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Neale as part of the first step of a "transition to a new and strengthened...
