Leclerc relinquishes Haas FP1 run for GP3 title showdown
Preferring to concentrate on the GP3 title, Ferrari development driver Charles Leclerc has decided to skip his final FP1 run for Haas as he aims to defend his lead on the GP3 Championship table. So far in 2016, the Monte-Carlo born driver has participated in four free practice sessions with the American team, stepping into the seat in Britain, Hungary, Germany and Brazil. Announcing the news on his Twitter account, Leclerc said it would have been too much of a rush jumping from Formula 1 straight into GP3 qualifiers. 'A really hard decision to make but I won't be driving in Abu Dhabi during the Free Practice 1 with Haas because of the timetable,' Leclerc posted. 'I want to be 100% focused...
