Liberty looking to expand calendar

At a time current races remain under threat, Liberty Media, F1's new owner, is looking to expand the calendar. Only last week, Bernie Ecclestone admitted that while the Canadian Grand Prix appears to have been saved, the future of the events in Brazil and German remain in doubt. While drivers and teams feel that a 21-race calendar is already taking its toll - and let's not forget Pitpass' long held claim that it should be about quality not quantity - Liberty Media is hoping to add more races to the season.
