Sainz ‘cannot be more happy' with P6

Carlos Sainz couldn't be more happy with his sixth place in Sunday's Brazilian GP as it came at a time when Toro Rosso were not expecting to score any points. Sainz made the most of the tricky wet conditions at the Interlagos circuit and worked his way up to fourth at the second red flag as many of those who had been ahead of him had pitted for intermediate tyres. The Spaniard was unable to hold onto the position as he was overtaken late in the grand prix by first Max Verstappen and then Sebastian Vettel. Sainz, though, was still delighted with his P6 on the day. 'I don't mind, I'm so happy with P6,' he said. 'P4 was maybe possible – well, no, it wasn't possible with those five laps...
