'Enhanced risk for rain' on race day
Official meteorologists to the FIA forecast rain throughout Interlagos race day. Following overnight rain, the Interlagos paddock awoke to overcast skies and the threat of further rain today. UBIMET, the official meteorologists to the FIA, is predicting more of the same tomorrow. 'Race day will see overcast and wet conditions,' they report. 'The probability for some rain throughout the day is quite high - light and intermittent in the morning hours, more frequent and possibly moderate in intensity during the afternoon hours due to an approaching weather system. Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast and the temperature will range around 20 C.
