McLaren wants to ‘iron out’ performance fluctuations

 XPB Images McLaren-Honda racing director Eric Boullier says the team wants to “iron out” the fluctuations witnessed in its performance across recent races. Since the end of the summer break, McLaren-Honda has shown improved pace, amassing 32 points and equalling its season-best result of fifth place in Austin. However, the British outfit and Japanese manufacturer have also experienced tough weekends over the same span, especially at Suzuka where Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button finished a lowly 16th and 18th.
