Sauber confirms recruitment of Zander

Sauber has confirmed the appointment of Jorg Zander as its Technical Director. He is a familiar face in the team, as he worked as Chief Designer for the BMW Sauber F1 Team back in 2006 and 2007. Currently Zander works as Technical Director for Audi Sport. The Swiss crew is more than pleased to welcome him back to Hinwil. The 52-year old German will start at the beginning of 2017 at the headquarters in Hinwil. Zander has more than 25 years of experience in international motorsport working in different leading technical positions. The journey in Formula 1 began in 1997 at Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Cologne.
