Hamilton: 2007 defeat shows I must fight on

Lewis Hamilton says the lessons of his 2007 title defeat give him all the motivation he needs to keep fighting for this year's Formula 1 world championship. The outcome of this year's battle with Nico Rosberg is effectively out of Hamilton's hands, as if his teammate finishes second in the final two races then that will be enough to give the German the crown. But having come off worse at the end of 2007, when Kimi Raikkonen came back against the odds from a huge deficit with two races to go to snatch the crown, Hamilton says that nothing is done yet. However, he admits that the situation is quite strange for him, because even knuckling down and winning races may not be enough for him now....
