Williams to announce 2017 F1 drivers, Bottas & Stroll expected to be named Williams will announce its 2017 F1 driver pairing on November 3 (today) morning unveiling set for 11am, with Canadian F3 driver Lance Stroll expected to join Valtteri Bottas at the team. The announcement will close off another two places on 2017 F1’s grid, with Canadian teenager Lance Stroll becoming the first rookie to be confirmed for 2017. Stroll looks set to be offered a race seat after stunning the battle in European Formula 3 this year, winning the title by a huge 187 points.
