Hamilton defeats Rosberg to win in Mexico City

Lewis Hamilton continued to keep his championship chances alive with victory in the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday, but team-mate Nico Rosberg claimed second to remain in control of his own destiny. Despite a worrying turn one on the opening lap for both Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team drivers when both ran across the grass, Hamilton of his own doing and Rosberg due to a bang of wheels with Max Verstappen, Hamilton was pretty much untroubled all afternoon to clinch his fifty-first career triumph.
