Grosjean: Back row of grid 'unacceptable' for Haas

Romain Grosjean has branded Haas F1’s qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix “unacceptable” after both cars were knocked out in Q1. The Frenchman’s car felt good during Friday practice, but throughout Saturday Grosjean struggled and said “it’s just gone nowhere”. He was the slowest of the 21 runners in Q1, while team-mate Esteban Gutierrez only managed 17th and was also eliminated. Grosjean said it had been a tough weekend so far but he remains hopeful Haas can turn things around despite starting on the back row of the grid. “I really don’t know what’s happening,” he admitted. “The car was good in FP1 and it was alright...
