Hamilton tops first practice in Mexico

Mexican Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton was fastest in first practice at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez Circuit. The two Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen completed the top three, with Vettel just eight hundredths of a second away from the Mercedes driver’s time. However, Hamilton’s time was set on the mediums with the Ferraris running the softs. Both Force India drivers made it into the top five, with Sergio Perez leading Nico Hulkenberg, on the supersoft tyre. They were ahead of Valtteri Bottas on soft tyres and Nico Rosberg on the mediums, Daniel Ricciardo, Felipe Massa and Daniil Kvyat all in the top ten on the soft tyre.
