Horner: Verstappen's brakes 'out of control'

Christian Horner reveals Max Verstappen's brake issues in FP1 were because they were 'out of control' The Dutch youngster missed most the opening session after returning to the pits with smoke pouring from his left-rear brake drum. Once everything had been removed it was clear the overheating brakes had caused damage to the surrounding area, meaning the Red Bull driver was sidelined for the remainder of the session having completed just 10 laps. 'The brakes got out of control, and it damaged the electric loom so that caused quite a bit of downtime just getting that fixed,' Horner told Sky Sports.
