Jolyon Palmer: “My focus is certainly on the races”

Jolyon Palmer is ready for his first Mexican Grand Prix this weekend, although he has previous experience of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez having competed in free practice last season while Lotus reserve driver. The current Renault Sport Formula 1 Team driver feels the Mexican track has a nice feel, and is ready to attack this weekend and secure what would be only his second points finish of the season. “I drove it in FP1 last year and it was very slippery as the surface was new and it’s a cool track with a really nice feel to it,” said Palmer. “It’s always fun to go to a new circuit, which was the case last year. “It’s got a particularly distinct character with the...
