Honda hopes Mexican GP reflects progress

– McLaren power unit supplier Honda is hopeful that it can demonstrate the progress it has made when the sport return to Mexico this weekend.During a difficult reunion campaign in 2015 the McLaren-Honda partnership struggled in particular at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, with Button only 14th and Alonso exiting on the first lap.However, having amassed 74 points, compared to the 27 of 2015, Honda is optimistic that the partnership can compete for the top 10 in Mexico, a year after it endured a difficult event."The circuit is located at the high altitude of 2,200m, which means that the oxygen in the air is very lean, and the turbocharger must work extra hard to force air...
