No penalty for Alonso after Massa clash

United States Grand Prix – Race results Stewards have decided not to penalise Fernando Alonso for his robust pass on Felipe Massa for sixth position in the closing stages of the United States Grand Prix. On fresher tyres, McLaren-Honda's Alonso had surged onto the back of Carlos Sainz and Massa's battle for fifth position in the final laps of the Austin race, with the McLaren driver wasting no opportunity to make his presence felt with a bold lunge at turn 16.
