Verstappen on top in tight final practice

Max Verstappen edged out Daniel Ricciardo to set the fastest time during final practice for the United States Grand Prix, whilst Ferrari's pace deficit continued.  The Dutch driver set a competitive 1.36.766 for Red Bull Racing, and had a 0.2s gap, whilst the nearest Ferrari was half a second further back. Red Bull may have topped the session, however Mercedes didn't set a representative qualifying-simulation lap on the super-soft tyres. Rosberg attempted his super-soft run, and was 0.070s shy of Verstappen by the middle sector, however made a mistake and bailed out of his lap.
