Ferrari too busy to discuss contract extension - Sebastian Vettel

Sebastian Vettel says he and his team are too busy to begin discussing a contract extension, with the four-time champion's current deal set to expire at the end of next season, choosing instead to focus on getting Ferrari back to the front. Vettel has yet to challenge for the championship since joining Ferrari in 2015 on a three-year deal, with Ferrari struggling to match the dominant Mercedes team. The German currently sits just sixth in the championship standings, behind both Mercedes and Red Bull drivers and even his Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, who recently earned a one-year extension which will see him and Vettel continue as team-mates next year.
