Another Friday run for Celis Jr

Alfonso Celis Jr will return to the cockpit of the VJM09 in Austin after being handed another Friday free practice run by Force India. The Mexican racer last drove for Force India in Italy, which was his fourth FP1 outing. He will be back in action at Austin, replacing Sergio Perez in the opening practice session for the United States GP weekend. Celis Jr is one of two development drivers in action at Austin as Manor have already announced that Jordan King will be his grand prix debut in FP1.
