Brawn blames Wolff and Lauda for Mercedes departure

 XPB Images Ross Brawn has blamed Niki Lauda and Toto Wolff, and a breakdown in trust, for his exit from the Mercedes team in 2013. The 61-year-old former engineer offered another snippet from a soon-to-be-published book entitled 'Total competition, lessons in strategy from Formula 1', and which was written by Brawn in collaboration with former Williams CEO Adam Parr. Brawn founded his eponymous team on the back of Honda's retreat from Grand Prix racing in 2009, and duly won the world championship in sensational style that year before selling his outfit to Mercedes in 2010.
