Honda have ‘no concrete plan' to supply Sauber

Honda's head of F1 project Yusuke Hasegawa has revealed that there are 'no concrete plans' to add Sauber to the fold despite reports that the Swiss team is considering a new engine partner. Next season Sauber will race year-old Ferrari engines as the team says they are wanting to focus solely on the chassis in light of the sport's new technical regulations. However, it is a one-year contract with Ferrari leading to speculation that Sauber could look elsewhere for 2018 with Honda topping the list.
