Hülkenberg joins Renault from 2017
Nico Hülkenberg will leave Force India at the end of this season to join Renault for 2017, as part of a multi-year deal with the team. He is the first driver announced to be racing with the Enstone-based squad next season. The German driver reckons he is grateful that Force India has given him the chance to take up this new opportunity after agreeing to his departure before the end of his contract. “Renault has always been a big player in the motorsport world that brings up incredible memories: in his stint with Renault, Michael Schumacher not only helped make Germany an F1 nation, he also sparked my enthusiasm and fire for racing.
