Gasly to drive for Red Bull at Pirelli 2017 tyre test

Red Bull junior and GP2 driver Pierre Gasly will conduct this week’s Pirelli tyre testing at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Pirelli is completing extensive testing with its 2017 tyres, which are 25% wider than the current specification. Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull have been running with modified 2015 cars at the 2017 tyre tests, with the former wrapping one up at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Thursday.
