Nico Hulkenberg closing on Renault seat for 2017 season

Nico Hulkenberg looks set to jump ship from Force India to Renault for the 2017 season, with an agreement in place between the two parties, which would see the German leading Renault's factory outfit. Although Hulkenberg has a contract with Force India, it's believed to contain a get out clause which can be actioned by Hulkenberg if he feels a better deal is available. Renault meanwhile are looking for an experienced racer to lead the team as it seeks to climb up the pecking order and establish itself as a leading outfit amongst the likes of Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes.
