2016 Japanese Grand Prix - Driver ratings
F1i looks back at how the 2016 Japanese Grand Prix unfolded and gives each driver a mark out of ten for their performance at Suzuka Nico Rosberg - 1st place, 25 points - 9/10 In a weekend when his team-mate made the headlines, Rosberg was simply the faster driver. Top of all three practice sessions, his pole position lap was impressive as it came under pressure after a poor first run and ensured his advantage over Hamilton remained. In the race, Rosberg was in complete control, opening up a comfortable gap in the opening laps before managing the pace as Mercedes was slightly cautious following Hamilton’s failure in Malaysia.
