Lauda: If nothing happens to either car, Hamilton won't catch Rosberg

Niki Lauda believes Nico Rosberg will be world champion this year if nothing strange happens, following his victory in the Japanese Grand Prix. Rosberg took his ninth win of the season, again benefitting from Lewis Hamilton's early-race dramas, to extend his championship lead to 33 points with four races remaining. Hamilton, who dropped from second to eighth at the start, finished in third. Lauda, a non-executive chairman at Mercedes, reckons the Briton will not be able to catch Rosberg now unless the German hits trouble.
