Hamilton upbeat despite losing more ground

– Reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton insists he was happy to recover to third position despite losing more ground in the title race to Nico Rosberg at the Japanese Grand Prix.Hamilton lined up alongside Rosberg on the front row of the grid but bogged down at the start and tumbled to eighth position on the run to the first corner.Hamilton made progress in the race and caught up with Max Verstappen in the battle for second position, though a penultimate lap attack ultimately proved fruitless."I'm happy with clawing it back and getting some points," he said, having now slipped 33 points behind Rosberg."I just got some wheel spin at the start.
