Rosberg wins Japanese GP, Mercedes secure 2016 constructors’ title Nico Rosberg wins Japanese Grand Prix and he has extended his title lead, a hat-trick of wins for Mercedes at the Suzuka track. The German’s championship lead is up to 33 points with four races to go. Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton recovered from a poor-start to finish third, just behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. The result gifted Mercedes are secured of the 2016 Formula 1 constructors’ championship. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were P4 and P5 respectively. Verstappen's team mate Daniel Ricciardo made fifth while Sergio Perez was sixth… more to follow
