Haas hails first double Q3 appearance for its drivers

Haas has ticked another box in its list of debut season achievements after both Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutierrez managed to get through to Q3 for the first time together. Grosjean will start ninth on the grid for the Japanese Grand Prix, with team-mate Gutierrez lining up tenth. Team principal Guenther Steiner praised the team, gathering all the engineers and crew memebrs for a well done speech in the teams hospitality unit on Saturday evening. 'A very good day for us,' he said. 'We completed our program in FP3, the guys learned a lot and we were able to set the cars up for qualifying resulting in P8 and P10.
