Force India’s Fernley: “Sergio and Nico delivered some excellent laps”
Robert Fernley gave praise to both Sergio Perez and Nico Hülkenberg after both drivers made it through to Q3 during qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix with excellent laps. The deputy team principal of the Sahara Force India team was happy that both drivers made it through Q2 in what was an incredibly tight qualifying session where a tenth of a second or two could have meant a large drop in position. Fernley believed the pace seen by the team at the Suzuka International Racing Course reflected well compared to the speed they had shown throughout the three free practice sections, and believes they are in a good position to score big points on Sunday.
