Ocon disappointed not to beat Sauber pair

– Esteban Ocon was left to rue a mistake on his quickest Q1 run as he felt beating Sauber pair Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr was possible at the Japanese Grand Prix.Ocon edged out Manor team-mate Pascal Wehrlein but was just 0.021s adrift of Nasr, with Ericsson only a further 0.110s in front of the Brazilian driver."There was quite a bit more in the tank, unfortunately," said Ocon."I made a small mistake in Turn 14 [Spoon], which I'm pretty unhappy with, and which could have put us ahead of Sauber."So it was pretty tight with them and I feel bad for the guys because everything on my side has been strong this weekend. I hope to make it up to them in the race...
