Practice analysis – F1 2016 Japanese GP The Japanese grand prix weekend got underway with the second free practice sessions which was dominated by the Mercedes boys with both sessions being lead by Nico Rosberg. But, in addition to qualifying simulation teams also did race simulation and so let’s take a look at race pace of some top teams. As expected Mercedes look very strong both in qualifying runs and also in the long run’s on heavy fuel load, with very consistent and fast lap-times on both soft and the hard compound tyres.
