Lowe: No 2017 Bahrain test would be a 'risk'

– Mercedes technical chief Paddy Lowe has warned that Formula 1 faces a "real risk to the show" if it does not back Pirelli's request to conduct a pre-season test in hot weather in Bahrain.Formula 1 will undergo substantial regulation changes next season, with Pirelli's rubber set to be 25 per cent wider, and the prototypes have been tested in recent months.A further 11 days of private running is set to take place before the end of November, with Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari all in action, using 2015 mule cars modified to meet 2017 regulations.Formula 1's pre-season is set to take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in late February and early March, mirroring the...
