Max Verstappen: “Japan will always be a special place for me”
Max Verstappen admits that the Suzuka circuit will always be a special track for the teenager as he made his first appearance in a Formula 1 weekend there back in 2014, and is looking forward to this weekends Japanese Grand Prix in front of passionate racing fans. The Red Bull Racing driver arrives in Japan on the back of a podium finish last weekend in Malaysia, his fifth of the season, but is looking forward to the challenge of Suzuka, especially in sector one with all the fast sweeping turns. “I will spend a couple of days in Tokyo before heading to the track, which will be nice,” said Verstappen. “Japan will always be a special place for me because I made my F1 debut there during...
