Magnussen gives Renault more time for 2017 decision
Kevin Magnussen says he has agreed to give Renault another two weeks for the French manufacturer to decide whether it'll re-sign the Dane for 2017. Magnussen and teammate Jolyon Palmer, who both joined Renault for its works team's return season in Formula 1 this year, do not currently have seats for next season, as Renault continues to mull over its future line-up. A September deadline for the French marque's decision was mooted a month ago, but came to naught as Renault opted to postpone finalising its line-up. And Magnussen, who has been vocal on wanting an early decision and who is now believed to be free to negotiate with other teams, confirmed he would be giving Renault another two...
