Alonso: Another 'big step' needed for 2017

– Fernando Alonso has praised McLaren-Honda for the progress it has made this year but says another "big step" is required if it is to fight for podiums and victories in 2017.McLaren and Honda endured a torrid reunion last season, as the Japanese firm struggled for engine reliability and performance, leaving it ninth out of 10 teams in the standings.But significant progress has been made since, enabling Alonso and team-mate Jenson Button to already more than double their final 2015 points haul, enough for sixth overall.Alonso is well aware, however, that much more is required to fight the likes of Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari, with 2017's major regulation changes clouding...
