Perez confirms Force India stay

After months of speculation Sergio Perez has confirmed he will remain with Force India for the 2017 F1 championship. Although Force India team boss Vijay Mallya confirmed Perez months ago, the Mexican driver was quick to state that his spsonsors would decide his future. Linked to Renault and Williams, and more recently Haas, talks regarding his future proved to be protracted. However, in the end, it is Force India who have secured his signature for next season. “I’m pleased to confirm that I will be racing with Sahara Force India in 2017 as the team and my supporters have concluded their agreements,' he stated.
