Force India’s Robert Fernley: “An excellent effort by the entire team”

Sahara Force India deputy team principal Robert Fernley believed the sixth and eighth place finishes for Sergio Perez and Nico Hülkenberg during the Malaysian Grand Prix reflected a great effort for the whole team this weekend. Fernley was delighted to see the Silverstone-based outfit extend their advantage over Williams Martini Racing in the Constructors’ Championship by two more points, and felt it could have been even better but for the timing of the virtual safety car that gave the opportunity to other drivers to jump his drivers due to making pit stops.
