Throttle issue for Massa at start

Malaysian Grand Prix – Felipe Massa was left stranded on the grid at the start of the Malaysian Grand Prix due to a throttle problem on his car. The Brazilian, who retires from F1 at the end of the season, was unable to get going on the Formation Lap.  The team were able to get the car going again, albeit from the pitlane. “Well, when it’s not your day, it’s not your day,” said the 35-year-old, “everything happened at once. My throttle wasn’t working. The engine was on and I was trying to get it to work, but I couldn’t. “Then when we went to the garage, we switched it off and on, and it was working again.
